Title IX Notice Requirements
Mellen School District does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of sex in the district’s education programs and activities, and the district is required by Title IX and Part 106 of Title 34 of the
Code of Federal Regulations not to discriminate in such a manner.
The requirement not to discriminate extends to admission and employment, and inquiries about the application of Title IX and Part 106 to a recipient may be referred to the district’s Title IX
Coordinator, to the Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education, or both.
