This referendum passed because of the strong support and trust of our community. We sincerely thank our voters, families, staff, students, and community members who took the time to learn about the needs of our schools and stand behind the School District of Mellen.

With this approval, the District can move forward responsibly to improve safety, enhance learning environments, and protect the community’s long‑term investment in its schools. We remain committed to transparency and responsible stewardship as this work begins.

Facilities Referendum Approved

Voters in the School District of Mellen approved a $2 million facilities improvement referendum with approximately 58% support, marking the District’s first successful referendum in 25 years.
