Before & After School Program

The School District of Mellen's before & after school program will begin on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. If you are interested in signing up your child, please fill out the registration form below and return to the District Office.

Please note the following behavior expectations for students registered in the program:

Respect for others
- Treat fellow students, staff, & property with kindness & respect.
- Listen to & follow the instructions of the program staff
Participation
- Engage actively & positively in all activities.
- Follow safety rules during activities & use equipment appropriately.
Conduct
- Use appropriate language at all times.
- Refrain from any form of bullying, teasing, or disruptive behavior.
- Keep hands, feet, & objects to oneself.
Consequences
- If a student does not meet these expectations, parents/guardians will be notified, & appropriate actions will be taken, which may include temporary, or permanent removal from the program.

Program Hours

The before school program will be held in room 107. Hours will be every Monday-Thursday from 7:00 a.m. until school begins. Students can arrive anytime until 7:45 a.m. Entry will be through Door H (located in the back of the building).

The after school program will run every Monday-Thursday from 3:30-5:30p.m. Students will be in the following rooms:

First floor room 106: PK-2nd grade

First floor room 107: 3rd-5th grade

Second floor room 207: MS/HS

All students will be dismissed & walked out to Door G for pick up at 5:30 p.m. If your child is getting picked up earlier, or by someone other than a parent/guardian, please send a note to school letting us know, or call/email. Students leaving the program early will still be picked up at Door G.
