Early College Credit Program
(formerly Youth Options and Course Options)
Both the Youth Options and Course Options programs are now being called the Early College Credit Program. The Early College Credit program does have some differences from the former Youth Options Program. The most notable difference is that 9-12 can take advantage of the program. In addition to the grade level change, if a student is taking a course for college credit only the student/family is responsible for 25% of the cost. I am linking the most recent memo from the DPI and I will update this page as more information becomes available.

ECCP is open to grades 9 - 12. The program allows students to take college classes through the University of Wisconsin System, Wisconsin private colleges and universities, or Wisconsin tribal colleges. You will not have to pay for the class if the course is not comparable to one of our high school classes, qualifies for high school credit, you pass the class, and it is approved by the school board.
